March 20-22, 2009 - Houston Livestock Show Agriculture Mechanics Contest:
6'x10' Low Boy Trailer - Barret Edworth, Robert Howell and Alex Nickerson received a blue and a purple ribbon along with placing in the top ten in their class with their project!
Show Box - Rachel Cantrell recieved a red ribbon for her project.
Trailer Dolly - Brittney Margolis received a red ribbon for her project.
March 18-22, 2009 - Houston Livestock Show Jr. Heifer Show:
Cara Acton placed 5th in class out of 26 hiefers in her Shorthorn Heifer Class.

Congratulations to all students for doing an outstanding job exhibiting their market projects as well as representing the chapter throughout the entire show!
Haleigh O'Toole got 4th in her class for her amazing goat and was up for showmanship. She made auction and was 23 overall.
Eric Smith made Grand Reserve with his chickens.
Emily Smith, Megan McKeown, Lauren Burns and Jordan Ruthorford were also amazing enough to make auction!
Congratulations to the Agriculture Mechanics Team for winning over all grand champion project with a 6'x10' trailer along with having two (2) division champions and three (3) reserve division champions.
